(2024), Rudolf Augstein Stiftung (2024/25) and Arts Council Korea (2020, 2021, 2022), among others.
Hyunju Oh makes inner stories visible and audible in various aspects and forms of presentation. She deals intimately with the common fragility and complexity of our time and realizes its implication as a metaphorical and theatrical audiovisual moment that creates a variety of levels and associations. Her installations, a scenic aggregate of allegorical expressions, emphasize existences and times (in a space) with sculptural-plastic sound scenes, and she experiments with cognitive transformations and corresponding interplays.
Hyunju Oh currently works in a studio at basis Frankfurt.
